stranger things finale rant
I've just finished watching the stranger things finale...and I am disappointed to say the least. SPOILERS AHEAD!
Everything I say is just my opinion! You are allowed to disagree RESPECTFULLY.
First, let's talk about what I did like:
- Steve and Dustin's arc was emotional and well written
- Will getting powers is super awesome
- Max coming back was such a relief
- Jonathan and Nancy breaking up was long overdue
Very short list of things I liked...
Here is what I disliked:
- Will coming out had no real impact with the final battle with Vecna
- They defeated Vecna and the Mind Flayer waaaay to quickly and easily
- No major deaths except for Eleven
- HIGHLY predictable ending
- An hour of epilogue that felt super corny and sit-commy
- BYLER QUEERBAIT!
- So many of the characters were underutilized, sidelining the most important characters
- There are too many side characters that have too much screen time
- Completely ruined Mike's character, I thought he was supposed to be the "heart?"
